One Gin was launched on World Water Day in 2017, the first spirit launched by the One Brand, known for One Water. The idea behind it was simple – to merge their love of beautiful, premium craft gin with a desire to make the world a better place. Experimenting with flavours native to the UK, such as nettle, hawthorn and camomile, they settled on one of the most loved and multi-facetted botanicals: fresh English sage. They now create award-winning, bold, distinctive London Dry gins abundant with fresh sage and copper-distilled into wonderfully smooth aromatic spirits. One Gin is the first gin created to give back to a global humanitarian cause, turning the UK’s love of gin into a force for good. They donate at least 10% of their profits to fund life-changing, sustainable water programmes in the world’s poorest communities through the One Foundation. So far, The One Foundation has raised over £20 million, changing the lives of over 3.8 million people, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. Their goal is to reach £30 million by 2030.

Duncan Goose was inspired to start ethical brand, One, after being caught in Hurricane Mitch in Honduras in 1998 and experiencing first-hand what life is like without access to safe drinking water. This led him to launch the ethical bottled water brand, One Water and started the journey towards the creation of One Gin. Based in leafy Richmond upon Thames, they are a small, growing team of optimists with an obsession: to make the everyday count.
